Every Club rally has activities pre-arranged by a member couple (or a group of members) who have volunteered to be the Venue Officer for that rally. On the website under CLUB INFO - ASSET LIST AND JOB DESCRIPTIONS are details of a Venue Officer's duties and suggested activities (pages 7 & 8). For newer members it is possible to join up with a more experienced member if it is their first time. The success of any club is based on volunteering and participation of its members.
HOW TO REGISTER TO BE A VENUE OFFICER
To register your attendance at a rally, to go PLANNED RALLIES, and select REGISTER NOW. On the right-hand side under ADDITIONAL NOTES is a box to tick if you would like to be a Venue Officer for that rally. Tick the box and select SAVE ADDITIONAL INFO.
If you have already registered for a rally, you can still volunteer to be the Venue Officer by selecting EDIT INFORMATION for that rally and ticking the box.
Alternatively, you can advise the Rally Coordinator, Brian Bizzill, that you would like to be a Venue Officer.
